I sat in a room with 30+ founders who have built, failed, scaled, listed, and rebuilt again. 3 days in AIBoomi Annual '26. Walking into AIBoomi, I had questions. Walking out, I had clarity. The biggest lesson? 👉 The era of building SaaS companies is over. The era of building AI-native businesses has begun. And India is not late - India is leading.

Back from the AIBoomi (formerly SaaSBoomi) Annual '26, and it was time very well spent. What stood out to me most was the quality of conversations. Not just about AI or SaaS as buzzwords, but honest discussions around building companies, solving real problems, and the realities of scaling products and teams. I had the chance to meet several founders, operators, and leaders from across the ecosystem. Many interesting perspectives, a few strong debates, and some really valuable connections that I'm looking forward to continuing beyond the event.

There is a community that has become home for me. AIBoomi (formerly SaaSBoomi) is filled with people who want to share, learn, and simply connect. AIBoomi (formerly SaaSBoomi) Annual last week was definitely a few days filled with bringing people closer. It was my first annual, and I jumped right in as a volunteer, knowing absolutely nothing. But nothing needed to be known, for there were just great people all around who wanted me to succeed, even in those minuscule things I tried. These great people are now pretty close to me, and I just love the way they move mountains like it's their second nature. If someone asked me what I got out of the event, I would simply say it is this network and this community, which, by itself, brings a deep sense of belonging. I am sure I am going to be meeting a lot more amazing folks and have a ton of 3 AM friends whom I will continue to build and cherish!!

Met a YC founder. Didn't expect it to be this impactful. At AIBoomi (formerly SaaSBoomi), I had the chance to attend a session by Neel Balar (Co-founder Clueso, YC W23). What stood out wasn't just what he said—but how he said it. What I appreciated most was the honesty. The kind that only comes from being in the trenches—not theorising from the outside. Also, a reminder: proximity matters. Being in rooms where builders and experienced founders intersect changes how you think, what you prioritise, and what you believe is possible. Grateful for conversations like these—and for spaces that make them happen.

I won't be posting about the insights from the Annual (there are too many) But I will tell you one thing I took away from it. BUILD. BUILD. BUILD. This is the best time in the history of mankind to build something. The sky is no longer the limit, but a pitstop. Ignore all the noise around you and just focus on building. And maybe more importantly - create spaces where builders can find each other.
